Today I wanted to get back to incorporating some sprints into my training. I may race this weekend depending upon the weather just to see where my fitness level is, so I did not want to log heavy miles ahead of that. So my training session was as follows:
Roughly 2 miles hard pace to the local beach.
One there I did 8 50-60 meter full out sprints in the sand.
I then ran back home on a course that had a steady incline most of the way home for another almost two miles.
Then finished off with some running drills. Short but sweet.
